I have had a very negative experience dealing with Allstate from their customer service, communication, and the fact that they denied a claim based off a standard that was impossible for me to satisfy. They literally had me send them a weather report to prove that there was a natural disaster. They never sent an inspector yet denied my claim based off an employee's conjecture about the state of the building that I live in. I'm not sure how some random guy was able to tell me about the state of caulking around my window and the building façade over the phone without making any effort to visit or inspect.
